In Memory of Master Huang Wei Lun
BIOGRAPHY of MASTER HUANG WEI LUN
Master Wei Lun Huang was born in Foshan China and died July 24, 2016 at the age of 63, following treatment and surgery of a perforated colon. More than 100 family members and students honored Master Huang at a memorial service on July 31 at Tropical Park, Miami, FL. A memorial head stone was dedicated in 2017 at Venice Memorial Gardens in Venice, FL. The inscription reads, “Words describe, but the body speaks.” The translation of the Chinese wording it, “King of Fast Tai Chi Quan – Sifu Wei Lun Huang of foshan – Place of spiritual Cultivation.”
Master Huang was respected internationally and often gave demonstrations at major conferences and competitions. He was known for his mastery in an extensive system of Yang style Tai Chi, Hsing Yi, Ba Gua, Liu He Ba fa, Chi King, Push Hands, Qi gong, sword, spear and martial arts applications. Master Huang’s legacy includes a Tai Chi Fast Form.

In Memory of Sifu Wei Lun Huang

Spirit is a dragon hiding in the clouds, stirring fire soft and hard, purple and orange, churning from the sea; bottom to crown, this is the Spirit of a man called Sifu
Sifu’s brightness shines like the sun illuminating insights, listening inward to fuse Infinity within to infinity all around
Aligning ever-changing play of Yin and Yang, “Right use of the moment,” as Sifu would say
In some sense we are always at the beginning in the kung of ongoing discovery
“Spend time with it, work on holding a space exploring possibility, be receptive to the deeper connection”
Even now Sifu’s words still echo
He embodied the Lion and ate like that too
Fishing was fun but eating the catch made it all the better
Chess and violin favorite past times, all games being fair game for Sifu’s expanding spirit in life as well as in form
Respect, honor, and attention, these things were easy to give Sifu in exchange for kindness, an openness to helping, recognizing commitment, and willing to share the work of Wuqi wisdom
“Remember embodying the cosmos is dancing with transformation”
“Return is the action of the Dao”
“Fingertip, toes, belly button, nose turn over Heaven and Earth”
“Use the Four Seasons to drive your own uni-verse”
The real Sifu transmits knowingness in action and in stillness with no stone unturned; bit by bit, synchronizing unspoken metamorphosis, the mystery of the Dao reveals itself
This was his transmission, passion, and gift to us, students on the oneness path
