Dao Yin for Beginners – Starting Monday, January 13th at 9:30am (EDT)
Join us for a transformative 8-week journey into the ancient practice of Dao Yin, offered both in-person at Legacy Park (Yoga Room) and via Zoom. Dao Yin is the "grandmother" of Tai Chi and the "mother" of Qigong, focusing on the fundamental principles of energy movement and mindful alignment.
In this class, you’ll explore Dao Yin as a method of "leading and guiding energy," helping you cultivate a deep sense of inner balance and connection. The practice encourages the body to change from the inside out, fostering comfort, alignment, and a powerful sense of well-being.
Dao Yin is traditionally practiced on the ground, allowing you to connect more fully with your body’s energy. To ensure your comfort, please bring a mat and a blanket for the floor-based movements.
